The marathon is an annual sporting event organized by the CDJS/ECOWAS with the support of the ECOWAS Commission. Its aim is to promote regional integration, using sport as a mobilizing tool to bring people together.

Collection of kits- Thursday February 20 - 27 Venue: Eagles Square parking lot( VIO Container) Time: 10am- 5pm( except on Sundays)
Preparation and distribution of runners by race category
The half marathon(21km) will start at 7.30am in front of ECOWAS Commission in Asokoro while the 5-kilometer will start by 8.00am at Sahad Stores CDA (under the bridge on Independence/Kukwaba road)
By merit, the winners will receive their prize on an ECOWAS Marathon 2024 podium.
